Son, 31, is charged with double murder of his dad, 64, and mum, 74, after they were stabbed to death at their home in South West London
A SON has been charged with the murder of his elderly parents who were stabbed to death at their London home.
Dad Akbar Arezo, 64, and mum Layla Arezo, 74, were found dead in their bedroom, at their Whitton, South West London, home on Friday morning.
Mustafa Arezo, 31, from Whitton, South London, was arrested on Friday afternoon and was today charged with two counts of murder.
Police scrambled to his parents home on Redfern Avenue at around 9.40am on Friday.
The force described it as a "domestic incident", and confirmed the victims were both married and parents of the suspect.
A neighbour said the couple’s son and daughter were screaming outside after the grim discovery.
Sanaulhaq Khan-Tokhi, 49, went in to investigate before calling cops and said the woman was in bed and the man on the floor.
He added: “There was blood everywhere.”
Another neighbour said: “Both had their throats cut. We heard screams at around 2am but they stopped very suddenly.”
The victims were understood to be from Afghanistan.
