TERROR cops have made a fresh plea to tourists to stay alert for attacks while abroad this summer.

They want families to see a “run, hide, tell” video before travelling.

The four-minute clip from Counter Terrorism Policing has already been viewed by more than ten million people.

Det Chief Supt Michael Orchard said: “We want people to think of this in the same way they do the safety film on airlines.”

Detective Chief Superintendent Michael Orchard, co-ordinator of CTP's Protect and Prepare, said: "The chances of being caught up in a terror attack are incredibly small, but we know that people like to know how to react should the worst happen.

"We want people to think of this in the same way they do the safety film on airlines, a sensible safety precaution that they will likely never have to use, but one that could still save your life or the lives of others."

CTP has expanded its international work since the 2015 attack in Sousse, Tunisia, when a gunman opened fire on a beach and murdered 38 people, 30 of whom were British.

The video has been translated into 15 languages so it can be watched by hotel and security staff abroad.
