FATAL SHOOTING IN WEMBLEY

It's the second fatal shooting in London in two days, after a man was killed outside a mosque in Wembley on Friday.

A murder probe is underway after armed police and local officers attended reports of a shooting at Harrow Road at 8.10pm on July 5.

They found a man, believed to be aged in his 30s, suffering from critical gunshot injuries.

The victim was taken to a north London hospital but died a short while later.

His next-of-kin have now been informed, said the Met Police.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command are investigating his death in conjunction with police in Brent.

No arrests have been made, and while enquiries continue local residents "can expect an enhanced police presence in the area", the Met said.
