Incredible snaps show the best paw-traits from The Kennel Club’s prestigious canine competition

WELCOME to the International Paw-trait Gallery, a canine collection of the finest works by dog-loving photographers from all over the world – otherwise known as the pup-arazzi.
The snaps have all won categories in The Kennel Club’s annual Dog Photographer Of The Year competition.
Now in its 14th year, the international contest received almost 7,000 entries from more than 70 countries, including Brazil, Canada, America, China, Russia, Australia and New Zealand.
Rosemary Smart, Kennel Club chief executive, said: “The quality of entries we received this year was very high and all of the judges were thoroughly impressed with all of the entries.
“As such, it has been a tough selection process but the winning images are truly remarkable and do a wonderful job of displaying the dogs and their individual characteristics.”
