DRIVEN OUT

Boris Johnson’s row neighbours go into hiding after recording red wine argument with girlfriend

BORIS Johnson’s leftie neighbours have gone into hiding after they recorded the Brexiteer rowing with his girlfriend.

Tom Penn and partner Eve Leigh haven’t been seen at home in South London since reporting BoJo to the police.

The couple recorded Mr Johnson fighting over a red wine stain with girlfriend Carrie Symonds last week at their home in Camberwell.

They also called the police – but after officers said there was no evidence of wrongdoing, the pair sent their recording to the left-wing Guardian newspaper.

Their actions sparked a massive backlash from critics who said they were invading Boris’ privacy.

BoJo and Carrie have also been targeted outside their home with anarchists trying to drive them out of the area.

They have been too scared to return to the flat and are staying with friends instead.

Two neighbours said they haven’t seen Mr Penn or Ms Leigh since the news broke last Friday night.

But local resident Wayne Moseley, 47, insisted they hadn’t moved out for good despite hostility from other neighbours.

He added: “Everybody’s got an issue with what Tom’s done – the community, from what I’ve heard, don’t mind Boris or his girlfriend coming back.

“He could be living in some gated community but he’s chosen to stay here.”

In the recording captured last Thursday, Mr Johnson can allegedly be heard refusing to leave the flat and telling his girlfriend to “get off my f***ing laptop” before a loud crash is heard.

Carrie, 31, then reportedly told him he had ruined a sofa with red wine and added: “You just don’t care for anything because you’re spoilt.

“You have no care for money or anything.”

On Saturday night Remain-supporting Tom, 29, confirmed he had called the police and said: “My sole concern was the welfare and safety of my neighbours.”
