Sex festival gears up for its biggest year yet with posh showers and Glasto-style glamping upgrades

EUROPE’s biggest sex festival is back with a bang this year – with luxury showers for revellers.

Organisers of the huge outdoor swingers’ event are gearing up for their biggest turn out yet with more than 700 people expected to descend on a quiet country location.

Tickets began at £170 for couples for the three-day sex-fest and revellers can pay up to £415 for a luxury ‘glamping’ options.

Secretive organisers will not reveal the location of the festival until 48 hours before.

Swingfields – launched in 2013 – took place in Gloucestershire in 2015 and 2016 but organisers say an increase in ‘trolls’ and the invasion of the privacy of attendees forced them to cancel 2017’s event.

But plans are now well underway for the 2019 event in July.

Following the trend of most major festivals, organisers are including a glamping option with bell tents kitted out with proper beds and luxury furnishings for attendees who don’t fancy roughing it in a two-man tent.

ROMPING GLAMPERS

Glamping options include bell tents, ‘snoozy pods’ complete with mood lighting and a party tent which sleeps up to 12 people and includes specially decorated beds.

In 2016, ticket holders were warned they could be thrown out if they divulged the location to the media , failed to cover up their bottom halves in public areas or were found indulging in sexual activity in the hot tubs.

Organisers are advertising the event on websites dedicated to swinging and on one wrote: “The Swingfields Committee are delighted to announce that the next SWINGFIELDS festival – ‘Aurora’ will be held from Thursday 4th July 2019 until Sunday 7th July 2019.

“This three-day event will be working alongside ALL lifestyle groups, including LGBT communities, to ensure we deliver a fun and entertaining event for all, and already we have plans to entertain all groups who will be working to deliver the BEST EVER Swingfields weekend.

“We have luxury showers and toilets available, and for those self catering this year we also have washing up facilities (please DON’T USE the sinks in the toilet units or they overflow!).

“Perhaps camping is too much hassle so we are now offering a full range of GLAMPING, to include electric and heating options, all bedding, furnishings and lighting, so you just turn up and relax.”
