Mum’s agony as third brother from same family is murdered in violence on London’s streets
A DISTRAUGHT mum screamed "not another son" as she sobbed over the body of her third son murdered on the streets of Lawless London.
David Bello-Monerville, 38, became the fifth person killed in just six days when he was stabbed to death in Barnet, North London, on Tuesday.
As he lay bleeding to death on the ground, his agonised mum Linda wept and cried out: "Not another son."
David escaped death six years ago when a gunman blasted the car he was travelling in with 19-year-old twin brothers Joseph and Jonathan Burke-Monerville.
Joseph was shot in the head and died in hospital in what cops believe is a case of mistaken identity, while Jonathan escaped with gunshot wounds to his arm.
The twins had returned to London from Nigeria six months before the killing to study forensic science at London Metropolitan University.
A third brother, Trevor Monerville, 26, also tragically died when he was repeatedly stabbed by five thugs in Hackney in 1994.
'BEYOND DEVASTATED'
None of the brothers’ killers have so far been brought to justice and there have currently been no arrests for the latest murder to plague the family.
Parents Linda and John were today said to be “beyond devastated” at the murder of the third of their seven children.
Reverend Shaun Saunders, from the Brookside Methodist Church in East Barnet, told the : “A mother having one child murdered is terrible but three is beyond comprehension.
“The church will be offering support to the family. Our thoughts and prayers are with them.
"The violence on our streets needs addressing.”
KNIFE CRIME BRITAIN
