Tributes to ‘lovely and bubbly’ mum, 23, stabbed to death ‘after house party’ as boy, 16, held for murder
TRIBUTES have been paid to a "lovely and bubbly" mum, 23, who was stabbed to death "after a house party" as a 16-year-old boy was held for murder.
Paige Gibson was found with multiple stab wounds when cops and paramedics rushed to a street in Halifax, West Yorks., at around 5.30am on Friday morning.

Paramedics treated Ms Gibson at the scene and raced her to hospital — but she later died of her severe wounds.
The popular mum of a young daughter "will be missed by everyone" a close friend said as tributes poured in.

"I am really upset," said Michael, who said he used to go to house parties with Paige before he moved away from the area.
"Life is just too short. Paige was lovely and really bubbly. I have spoken to her sister and told her we are all here for her and the family.
"I will miss her so much. Everyone will. I had not spoken to her for a while but I really wish I had been in touch.
Absolutely heartbroken, haven’t seen you in a while but we was very close back in the day, you never hurt me or did any harm when we was close and I will miss you hun.

Dozens more have paid tribute to Paige online as residents claimed Paige had been at a house party shortly before the attack.
Jake Brown Sowerby said: "Absolutely heartbroken, haven’t seen you in a while but we was very close back in the day, you never hurt me or did any harm when we was close and I will miss you hun."

Anna Gray said: "Paige was a good mate of mine and she went out of her way on more than one occasion for me.

Detectives are asking for any witnesses or anyone with any information to come forward.

Cops confirmed they'd arrested a 16-year-old boy after the stabbing in Cumberland Close, Halifax in the early hours of this morning.
Detective Superintendent Nicola Bryar said: "Clearly people will be shocked by the nature of this incident and we are doing all we can to provide additional support and reassurance to the local community.
"We are continuing to investigate the circumstances and at this stage I would ask that any witnesses or anyone with further information contact the non-emergency number 101."
The woman's death is not the first murder of its kind this month.
