DONALD Trump has made up with Prince Harry after a row over whether he called Meghan "nasty", the President revealed today.
The Duke of Sussex had a friendly chat with Mr Trump when they met during his state visit, the President told Piers Morgan today on Good Morning Britain.
Mr Trump was interviewed by Good Morning Britain host Mr Morgan in the Churchill War Rooms yesterday afternoon.
In a wide-ranging interview aired this morning the US President:
The President said Boris Johnson was "doing well" in the Tory leadership race and whoever becomes the next PM will be "very important in your country's history".
He added on Mr Gove: "I met him last night at dinner for the first time, I thought he was very good.
"I was saying to the Queen last night, the choice is important, you have to get it right."
And on Meghan Markle, he said: "I wasn’t referring to she’s nasty. I said she was nasty about me."
During their conversation the President said he built bridges with Harry when they met at Buckingham Palace on Monday.
He said: "I congratulated him and I think he’s a terrific guy. The Royal Family is really nice."
Despite the prince's frosty look Mr Trump denied there was any tension, saying: "No, no, no, just the opposite.
"In fact, he spent a lot of time talking to Ivanka and talking to my family. I went up - he couldn’t have been nicer."
He added: "He couldn't have been nicer... I think he was great."

In an exclusive interview with The Sun last week, the President was asked his views on Meghan criticising him and replied: "I didn't know she was nasty."
But Mr Trump told Piers: “They said some of the things that she said and It’s actually on tape. And I said: ‘Well, I didn’t know she was nasty’.
"I wasn’t referring to she’s nasty. I said she was nasty about me. And essentially I didn’t know she was nasty about me.
“You know what? She’s doing a good job, I hope she enjoys her life... I think she’s very nice.
"It's OK for her to be nasty about me, it's not OK for me to be nasty about her and I wasn't."
Before joining the Royal Family, Meghan predicted that Mr Trump's election would drive Americans to move to Canada.
But President Trump revealed today he'd told the Queen just how much his family loved her - and the Queen was "honoured" to hear it.
He said: "The Queen is a great lady, my mother knew that.
"She was a tremendous fan of the Queen, she loved Scotland."
This is Piers' fifth interview with the US president who is currently on a three-day visit to the UK to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
He will take part in a special ceremony in Portsmouth later with the PM and other leaders from around the world.
The US President also talked at length about his discussions with the future king, Prince Charles, saying he is "really into climate change".
He told Piers: "I totally listened to him.
"He wants to make sure future generations have a climate that is a good climate, as opposed to a disaster."
And the US President appeared to be warming to the idea that climate change is important, adding: "That's great, I want that, I like that.
"I want the cleanest air, crystal clean air."
And he insisted: "We had a great conversation. What moves me is his passion for future generations, he's not doing this for him.
"He believed this is real, he wants a world that's good for future generations.
"He's a very good person who cares about people.
"That's what impressed me the most, his love for this world."
On his chats with Her Majesty, the US President remained tight-lipped, saying: "I promised her I would not tell anyone about it, I'm not going to break my promise in one day."
And he claimed: "We had a great rapport.
"We had a conversation that latest for an hour and a half, non-stop.
"I have great respect for her."
The two sat down on board Air Force One where they discussed Putin and a possible trade deal with the UK in the wake of Brexit.
Trump took time to meet with Piers who has called himself a "good friend" of the president after they met on Celebrity Apprentice 2008.
The President flew in to Britain yesterday, and tomorrow he will attend D-Day anniversary events before saying goodbye to the Queen and flying on to Ireland.
