Alli was also mum to Harry, nine, Sara, 15 and Alex, 17.

It’s understood Andrew had been receiving treatment recently for personal issues.

A number of people took to social media to pay tribute to the singer-songwriter after hearing the sad news.

Keywest singer Andy Kavanagh wrote on Facebook: “I just got the shocking news that my friend and fellow musician Andrew Mann has passed.

“Another beautiful soul lost needlessly.

“Life can get so very complicated so quickly.

“I’ve known Andrew for many years as a musician but in recent years we’ve really become good friends.

“He was a gentle positive person and I loved being around him. This has definitely hit me very hard. If you have a minute go watch him sing.”

Friend and food author Oliver McCabe also expressed his condolences.

He said: “I’ve just heard the very sad news our talented handsome pal Irish musician Andrew Mann passed away yesterday.

“Deeply saddened & shocked by this news as I had the pleasure to get to know him recently. My sincere condolences to his fans, friends & family.”

‘NO WORDS’

Music producer Dean Sherry wrote on Twitter that he was “very saddened” to hear about the passing of “such a talented Irish guy”.

He said: “I worked with him on a small music project a couple of years back. Such a great guy to be around – very shocked.”

Another person said: “Lost one of my favourite people yesterday. We’ll miss you Andy.”

Someone else said: “Very very sad to hear of the passing of Andrew Mann. No words. People please talk and help each other.”

It’s understood his death is not being treated as suspicious.

He rose to prominence after starring on the second series of The Voice of Ireland, and released his debut EP Middle of the Dancefloor in 2013.

He had dated mum-of-four Alli, from Rathfarnham, South Dublin, for a number of years but the pair had separated in the months before her death.

The beauty wrote: “Why is it ok for a man to call a girl a fat ugly c***?????? Seriously new level of pushing someone to the edge.”

In a series of other posts seen by the Irish Sun, traumatised Alli had pledged to reveal “every abusive message” she had been sent.

As the popular single mother went public about her troll nightmare, pals reassured that she was “beautiful” and insisted it was “not ok” to receive abuse.

One said: “Some women are so beautiful that some men become extremely insecure and jealous, fault lies with him and not you, name calling is childish.”

She was represented by former Miss Ireland Andrea Roche’s modelling agency.
