Stag turned away from Guinness tour because he was dressed in Britney Spears fancy dress
Bosses told Brad Phillips, 29, his outfit was 'not appropriate' for the Storehouse visitor centre in Dublin
A STAG was turned away from a Guinness tour — because he was in a Britney Spears-style schoolgirl fancy dress.
Bosses told Brad Phillips, 29, his outfit was “not appropriate” for the Storehouse visitor centre in Dublin and he had to get changed.
Brad said: “I thought they must have been joking. A security guard asked if I had anything else I could put on, but I didn’t.
“He said people might get offended. I could understand if it was a church or something, but it’s a brewery. It put things on a bit of a downer.”
The website for the Storehouse — Dublin’s top tourist attraction — mentions no dress code, and reviews on several stag party sites say fancy dress is OK for the tour.
Brad’s fiancee Sarah Stevens, 30, said: “He was let on a flight dressed like that, so it can’t have been that risqué. It ruined the stag do.”

After she complained, the company offered the couple, of Hainault, North East London, free entry as a “gesture of goodwill”.
But banker Sarah said: “It’s not like we can pop over for the afternoon — it’s ridiculous.”
Carpenter Brad added: “All the other Irish people we met were decent craic — it’s just a shame about those killjoys at Guinness.”
