LABOUR MPs have launched a bid to STOP Donald Trump from coming to the UK for a state visit, it's been revealed.
More than 50 MPs have signed up to a motion demanding Theresa May cancel the trip - which was only announced hours earlier.
It accused the US President of "misogyny, racism and xenophobia",
And they blasted him for his comments about women and refugees too, claiming his views made him unfit to be hosted by the Queen.
Earlier today it was revealed that Mr Trump will visit Britain in the first week of June, and will celebrate the 75th anniversary of D-Day with other European leaders.
But the Early Day Motion is a basically meaningless gesture, and can't actually be used to change anything.
MPs who have signed it include Ealing MP Rupa Huq and Kensington MP Emma Dent Coad.
And some from the SNP, Lib Dems, Plaid and the Green Party have backed the move too.
Brighton Kemptown politician Lloyd Russell-Moyle told the website today: "A man who has been shown to whip up hatred, who has insulted the mayor of our capital and refused to recognise climate change is not a man who we should be offering a state visit to.
"State visits costs huge amounts, close streets and take a huge amount of policing."
The London Mayor and Mr Trump have regularly exchanged wars of words over terror attacks and the UK's response.
The US President claimed last year during an interview with The Sun that Sadiq Khan had "done a terrible job" on dealing with terror.
Today Shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry said it "beggars belief" President Trump was having the red carpet rolled out for him.
She said the PM has "no business wasting taxpayers' money on all the pomp, ceremony and policing costs that will come with this visit."
Anti-Trump protesters have said they expect hundreds of thousands of people to take to the streets again when he comes back to Britain.
Last year a huge orange blimp of the President was flown over the capital during his visit, and protests exploded across the country.
The motion being signed to stop Trump from coming to Britain
"That this House deplores the record of US President Donald Trump, including his misogynism, racism and xenophobia; condemns his previous comments on women, refugees and torture; condemns his lack of action on climate change and failure to support the Paris Climate Change Deal; condemns his sharing of online content related to a far-right extremist organisation in the UK; condemns his comments about the Mayor of London; and notes previous motions and debates in the House including on the withholding of the honour of a joint address to the Houses of Parliament; further notes the historical significance and honour that comes with the choice to offer a full state visit to an individual; and calls on the Prime Minister and the Government to rescind the advice to offer a full state visit to President Trump."

The President is expected to spend three nights in Britain when he comes in June, and will have a state banquet with the Queen.
The White House said today: "This state visit will reaffirm the steadfast and special relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom.
"In addition to meeting the Queen, the president will participate in a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Theresa May."
