A SWIMMING pool was forced to shut for two days after poo was found in the water.
Dollan Aqua Centre in Lanarkshire, Scotland is now undergoing a deep clean after the "accidental faecal release".
All swimming lessons and water-based fitness classes have been cancelled at the pool in East Kilbride, operated by South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture.
The centre is is expected to reopen at 7.30am on Thursday.
Posting on Facebook yesterday, leisure chiefs said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances we have had to close the pool.
POO DUNNIT MYSTERY
"The pool will re-open on Thursday, April 18 at 7.30am. Swimming Lessons for today, Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 will be cancelled.
"Aquafit class for Wednesday, April 17 at 12pm and 7.15pm are also cancelled. Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
It comes after another Lanarkshire swimming pool was forced to close for 36 hours after someone left a floater in the water.
