A MUM-of-three was put in a coma after undiagnosed asthma left her unable to breathe in the middle of the night.
Lisa Spence, 44, was rushed to hospital after her airways closed up - leaving her coughing in agony as medics battled to work out what was wrong.
"Her heart rate was absolutely crazy. Next thing you know she was getting rushed into resuscitation.

"I knew things were getting pretty serious then. Then they decided to move her to the high dependency unit.
"She spent the day and night in there."
Lisa made a full recovery after five days in a coma at James Cook University Hospital.
Doctors concluded she had undiagnosed asthma winch was made worse by an infection.

Rory added: "Without the team of specialist consultants, doctors, nurses and other support staff, she simply would not be here.
"The NHS does get some stick at times, blame the government not the employees. They are simply professionals, and go above and beyond their call of duty.
"I’d like to make more people aware of how asthma can easily reduce a fit and healthy person to be very seriously ill. I’d also like to raise awareness of the fantastic work the employees of the NHS do."
Rory is set to raise funds for Asthma UK by running the London Marathon later this month.
The funds will be shared between the charity and James Cook Hospital.
