Liverpool fanatic Sean - who was left with a brain bleed following an attack by AC Roma fans last year - will watch an Ireland Legends v Liverpool Legends charity game tonight
The Sean Cox Rehabilitation Trust shared a clip of Sean saying "thank you" and giving a thumbs up to the camera yesterday morning.
They wrote on Twitter: "Bake sale, bag pack or bingo.
"If you are one of the thousands who organised/attended a fundraiser to #supportsean Sean Cox has this message for you x."
The former electrical company director is being treated at Ireland's National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dun Laoghaire.

He appeared before Preston Crown Court in Lancashire and entered a guilty plea to unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm on Sean.
The Crown Prosecution Service accepted his not guilty plea to a separate charge of violent disorder.
Another Roma fan, Filippo Lombardi, 21, was cleared in October of inflicting grievous bodily harm on Sean, but was jailed for three years for violent disorder.
A third man, Daniele Sciusco, 29, from Rome, admitted violent disorder and was jailed for two and a half years in August.
Martina said the game would be the first time her husband would be out in public since the attack.
She added: "He's going to be there which is great, I didn't think it would happen a couple of months ago."
The wife of the life-long Liverpool fan has expressed hope he will one day return to Anfield.
She said: “He regularly went to Anfield.
"I’m sure Liverpool Football Club would love to have him there, because he never got in that day."
