Witnesses were left horrified as the violence unfolded on the quiet street in Kent last night
THIS is the terrifying moment armed men battled in the street with baseball bats, hammers and machetes after a car crash.
Witnesses were left horrified as two men chased after a group, wielding dangerous weapons on a quiet street in Kent last night.
Footage of the confrontation shows how two men, one wearing pink shorts and the other in a black coat, smash a car with bats and scream "don't you ever come back here".
They continue to shout "you're dead" and other threats, including racial slurs, as the men run away.
It is understood there was a car crash on Walderslade Road, Medway, when the violence spilled out on the street.
In one video, a terrified witness can be heard urging a family member to "get in", before adding: "It's on our f***ing doorstep man".

One woman, 28, who witnessed the violence said she had been ready to call police when she watched the fight unfold for 15 minutes.
She told Kent Live: "The next thing I saw two white guys get out of a Ford Fiesta and a group of black guys get out of a Corsa.
"They were eff-ing and blinding and throwing around racial slurs and then the black guys came out of their cars with bats on them.
"The other guys went into their cars and got hammers.
"Then they all tried to hit one another."
She said one of the men tried to run towards their house while being chased, adding: "The white guys started smashing the black guys’ car, so the black guys started smashing the other guys’ car.
"The black guys ran off then the white guys go into their car and drove away."
The petrified witness said police later found a crutch and bat that had been thrown into a neighbour's garden.
She said: "It was all a blur, it was like something from a movie."
A Kent Police spokesman said police had been called to the street about 5.40pm yesterday but as of yet, no arrests had been made.
They said: "It is reported that two groups of men were involved in an altercation following a two vehicle collision.
"During the altercation, a number of stationary vehicles were damaged.
"The group are then reported to have dispersed.
"Officers had attended the scene by 5.40pm and remain in the area conducting ongoing enquiries to establish the full circumstances.
"At present, no injuries have been reported."
It comes as London has continued to escalate, with a 22-year-old lad stabbed to death while trying to flee a gang in Kentish Town.
A map of the knife murders across the capital today revealed how thugs can strike anywhere.
The grisly death toll continues to rise with 21 people stabbed to death already in 2019.
