The riot broke out after claims a Syrian man had tried to molest a female ISIS member from Iraq, police said.

It was reported the women tried to lynch the man.

The mob, led by three local ISIS women then focused their attentions on the camp guards, reports .

Jani, 18, said: “The women were shouting that if I was in their hands, they would behead me.”

A member of the police said: “They were shouting ‘Allahu akhbar’.

If they had the chance to try to control the camp, they wouldn’t have spared any of us

“They besieged our base and threw rocks at us. They broke windows. Some of our men shot on the ground next to their feet to try to stop them.

“If we had withdrawn, they would have burnt everything. If they had the chance to try to control the camp, they wouldn’t have spared any of us.”

The guards said they are vastly outnumbered by the fanatical ISIS brides who are desperate to resurrect the "caliphate".

A senior member of the police said: “ISIS is finished so it tries to take revenge here.

“They can even bribe NGOs to bring weapons inside. Even the shops inside the camp, they can give them money and get them to bring them guns.”

The riot broke out three days ago as the last bit of territory held by the extremists around Baghouz fell.

The White House said the final area held by ISIS has been "eliminated" marking the end of a brutal five-year reign that saw the death cult conquer huge swathes of territory.

Previously ISIS brides in Syrian refugee camps have vowed chilling revenge.

One veiled woman warned: "We will seek vengeance, there will be blood up to your knees."

The woman, feared to be among thousands of unrepentant fanatics who have fled Baghouz and surrendered to US-backed Kurdish forces, added: "We have left, but there will be new conquests in the future."

Other jihadi wives believe she had disgraced their cause by bleating about her plight - and vowed to kill her.

She feared reprisals and was taken to the al-Roj refugee camp closer to the Iraqi border.
