THE Sun is top of the newspaper charts once again this month.

New readership figures from industry experts PAMCo have confirmed that The Sun remains Britain’s No1 news outfit, with an audience just shy of 30 million every month — about half of the entire population.

The Sun and Sun on Sunday have also received nominations for best newspaper, best Sunday newspaper and best website at the annual Press Awards, the industry Oscars, on April 2.
