Mystery surrounds a four-year-old girl who vanished after wandering away from her home in broad daylight after her footprints were found by a nearby creek.
Anndine Jones walked out of her house in Utah last Thursday afternoon, prompting a huge search.
The family were at home at the time, and no trace has been found since.
The only clue came in the form of the child’s tiny footprints, which were found close to McElmo creek, a narrow river that flows close to her home.
Local police announced no Sunday they had temporarily suspended the search.
A Navajo Police Department have not offered any theories on what happened to Anndine, beyond saying that they do not believe she was abducted.
The creek where Anndine’s footprints were found has been searched by police boats, divers and drones.
Over 100 volunteers spend Saturday searching eight miles of the riverbed, but found no sign of the missing youngster.
She was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and dark blue pants, and has been listed with the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) as a missing person.
