MAKING a Murderer's Steven Avery held a police chief's wife at gunpoint while she had a crying baby in her car after ramming her off road, police reports claim.
Netflix series Making A Murderer left out vital evidence about Avery's alleged crimes leading up to Halbach's murder, prosecutor Michael Griesbach has alleged.

Less than seven months before his original arrest in 1985, Avery rammed police chief's wife Sandra Morris off the road, before holding her at gunpoint while her baby sat in the car.
In the book, Griesbach writes: "When Morries stopped her car and was getting out, he (Avery) approached and held her at gunpoint."
'PUBLICLY EXPOSING HIMSELF'
The book reveals that Morris, who is also Avery's cousin, lived right up the road from Steven and his wife, Lori, and had to drive past their house on her way to work at 5:30am, however her troubles with him started a few months earlier.
The book continues: "He would get up early, grab his field glasses, and peer down the road to see when Morris was leaving.
"Then he'd wait for her to drive past, and, depending on how messed up he was that day, he'd either rub himself on the hood of the car or expose himself.
"One time he was wearing nothing but his shoes."
In contrast to Griesbach's detailed version of this particular event, the Making a Murderer documentary only mentioned that the two had a row after Avery rammed Morris's car.
Griesbach slammed Netflix for not revealing the true reasons behind an incident which happened shortly before he was originally arrested in 1985.
This particular incident occurred when Morris was driving to work that morning but this time with her infant daughter in the car, as Morris was going to drop her off at her parents' house in town, the book reveals.
'POINTED RIFLE AT HER HEAD'
Griesbach writes: "Just passed the Avery residence she looked in her rearview mirror and saw lights approaching from behind.
"It began passing on her left, and then without warning struck the side of her car, causing her to careen back and forth in the road, but eventually gaining control without sliding into a ditch."
The book says Morris assumed someone accidentally lost control and hit her car.
However, it reveals: "Before she (Morris) got out of the car, she looked up and saw Steven Avery walking toward her.
"He was pointing a rifle at her head. He ordered her to get into his vehicle, but she motioned to her daughter on the front seat and told him that her baby would freeze to death if she left her alone."
This then prompted Avery to look inside her car, telling her she could go.
Avery was arrested by three deputies within the hour, who also found a loaded .30-06 rifle stashed under one of his kids' beds.

Griesbach mentions that Avery confessed to ramming Morris's car, pointing a gun at her and to forcing her into his vehicle.
Griesbach, a Wisconsin prosecutor, helped exonerate Avery in 2003, but wrote his book detailing why he believes the 56-year-old is definitely guilty of killing Miss Halbach.
Avery's violent gun threats mirrored later on in his life, when he told his ex-girlfriend "I should get a gun and kill you" just one day before murdering Teresa Halbach.
