WE'VE all fallen victim to a costly spelling mistake over text, but this lad got into a seriously awkward situation while messaging his mum.
Brogan Tant, 18, claimed he was trying to tell his mum that he had a 'stye' - a kind of eye infection.
But he accidentally wrote "I've got a sti" instead - sparking a hilarious response from mum Elaine.
She seemingly replied: "Is it any wonder the way you bang the birds, the doctor can treat most things son.
"Make sure you get it treated and take the whole course of meds your given!
"Now let it be a lesson and use condoms son, a still love you xxx"
Realising his mistake, Brogan quickly corrected her by posting a picture of his eye.
She replied: "Get a gold ring and rub it on the stye."
Brogan, from Limavady, Northern Ireland, tweeted the hilarious exchange with the caption "f*** sake mum".

Several said the exchange was mocked up on photoshop - but Brogan hit out at the "haters" for suggesting it.
He added: "My mum knows, do a look like a shagger? Yes I am."
