DAME Joan Collins has paid tribute to blogger Laureline Garcia-Bertaux - who was found buried in a shallow grave after a date with a mystery man.
The "shocked" film legend, 85, worked with tragic Laureline on the short film Gerry last year.
She told the : "I'm shocked by the horrifying news. Laureline was passionate about film. I enjoyed our collaboration and thought she had a great future."
Cops are probing French-born Laureline's love life after pals said she was active on dating apps including Tinder, Bumble and The Inner Circle.
And they want to trace a man she is said to have met for a date at the weekend.
French national Laureline, from Corsica, had lived in London for ten years.
She was reported missing by colleagues after failing to turn up for work at PR firm Golin on Monday morning.
Her rottweiler and husky dogs were found in her rented ground-floor flat in Kew, South West London.
She lived alone after splitting from Russian boyfriend Kiril Belorusov last year.
Laureline, who blogged on lifestyle and fashion, was last seen alive on Saturday night outside Sainsbury’s in Richmond.
Friends said she had been due to meet a man for coffee on Sunday evening.
Daniel Hughes, 27, said the timing of the date was “a bit suspicious”.
He said: “It’s creepy, it’s upset me.
“We’re not sure when the murder took place, whether it was Saturday night or Sunday night.
“She was meant to move out of that house on Monday morning.”
Laureline, who dreamed of becoming a film-maker, had worked at the Discovery Channel and ran a creative video production firm called Black Balloons Studios.
Claudio Ravenelli, 33, who ran Black Balloons production company with Laureline, said: “Laureline had a lot of humour, she was a very fun person and liked to go out to party with friends.
“I’m just in total shock, I didn’t even know she was missing.”
Last year she assisted on short film Gerry, starring Joan Collins.
She also worked as a production assistant on Tower Block, with Sheridan Smith.
Friend Aime Nash said: “I’m really shocked.”
