The 35-year-old politician will have to wear an ankle tag but could return to Parliament for Brexit talks tomorrow having refused to resign her Peterborough seat
DISGRACED MP Fiona Onasanya has been freed today after less than a month in jail — and could sit in Parliament with an ankle tag.
The politician, 35, spent just 28 days behind bars for lying to dodge a speeding ticket.
She was driven out of HMP Bronzefield in Surrey under an early-release scheme early this morning.
The ex-solicitor, who has refused to resign her Peterborough seat, could return to Parliament for tomorrow’s Brexit vote.
She must wear a tag and obey a curfew but will otherwise be free.
Labour expelled Onasanya following her conviction for perverting justice but she still picked up part of her £77,000 salary in jail.

If she had been jailed for 12 months then she could have been automatically booted out as an MP.
She also launched an appeal after being given a three-month sentence last month.
Yesterday the Attorney General's office said they couldn't refer her case to the Court of Appeal for being too lenient.
It said: "The threshold is a high one and the test was not met in this case."
The Ministry of Justice refused to comment last night.
