DELUDED ISIS brides have bragged about living a ‘perfect’ life under fanatics in Syria - even though their kids had to eat weeds and mouldy food to survive.
Kurdish soldiers have been rounding up the wives, mothers and children who have decided to abandon the so-called caliphate after years of combat.
And although a handful have been left disillusioned by the terror group's actions, many are still fiercely loyal to their bloody cause.
Sky News film crews who visited the battle-scarred region found although ISIS may have lost swathes of its territory, its followers' fanatical ideology has not weakened.
"Your face is like a shoe," said one woman, firing the worst insult she could at the channel's journalist John Sparks.
Another said: "Thanks be to God, (Islamic State) has laws that are God's laws, they only have God's law and when they help people it's for free.
"It was the perfect life of dignity and grace."
However, others told how things were far from perfect adding there was
Another woman said: "It was difficult to get out. We were starving, there was bombing, it was cold. The kids were sick."
At least 1,000 foreign nationals, including at least 14 Brits, suspected of being ISIS members are now being held in prisons and camps in north Syria, after being captured by the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
At al-Hawl camp in Deir ez-Zor province, more than 39,000 people face a lack of electricity, food and water.
The International Rescue Committee said last week that 51 people, mostly children, have died in recent weeks owing to freezing weather, malnutrition and a lack of medical care.
However, runaway ISIS bride Shamima Begum has boasted about being given a plush tent because she's "famous now".
The British teenager spoke of how her "fame" led to her being given the new makeshift home in the squalid al-Hawl camp.
But she admitted it has led to anger among jealous jihadi wives - and Islamist hardliners.
They've scorned her for appearing in multiple TV interviews without covering her face in line with extreme Islamic law.
The 19-year-old told the that she even heard "talk" of plans to burn down the tent where she lives with her week-old son Jerah - named after a 7th century Islamic warlord.
She said: "Now a lot of women hate me, I’m afraid of a lot of people."
Begum, who was last week stripped of her British citizenship, also finally claimed she was truly sorry for ditching East London at 15 to join up with ISIS.
The news comes after her family told how they were appalled at what she has said since being tracked down at the camp earlier this month.
Her father condemned her lack of remorse for what ISIS has done - saying he is "on the side of the Government" for banning her from re-entering the country.
Ahmed Ali, 60, said: "I know they (the British Government) don’t want to take her back, and in this I don’t have a problem.
"I know she is stuck there but that’s because she has done actions that made her get stuck like this.
"I can’t say whether it is right or wrong, but if the law of the land says that it is correct to cancel her citizenship, then I agree."
But Shamima - who married jailed Dutch terror nut Yago Riedijk, 23, in Syria - insists she's been "discriminated against" by British authorities.
That is despite admitting she never planned to come back to the UK when she travelled to war-torn Syria with two school friends in February 2015.
Again describing herself as "famous", she said: "I feel like I’ve been discriminated against because everyone was saying I was a poster girl for ISIS.
"I’m being made an example of. I’m being punished right now because I’m famous."
