GOLDEN flames appear to fall down a mountain as weird weather around the world creates a wealth of incredible images.
Visitors to California’s Yosemite Park are being treated to the rare illusion for a few minutes each day this week.
The trick of the light is caused by the setting sun shining on Horsetail Fall as warmer temperatures melt some of the snow on its top. Meanwhile Las Vegas, which usually bakes in the Nevada Desert, has seen plenty of the white stuff too.
The city and its famous hotels, including the Egyptian-themed Luxor, were covered in snow on Wednesday as Winter Storm Petra swept across the US from the west coast to east.
And 7,700 miles away Sydney Harbour Bridge was struck by lightning in a recent storm — at the height of Australia’s summer.
