MICHAEL Jackson was a sexual predator who abused many kids in a case bearing similarities with the Jimmy Savile paedophile scandal, it’s claimed.
Brit director Don Reed, who is behind a new explosive documentary Leaving Neverland, believes there are much more victims than the two featured in his film.
Despite legal threats from the late singer's estate, the two-part film Leaving Neverland will air on Channel 4 next month.
It focuses on the alleged abuse experienced by Wade Robson, 36, and James Safechuck, 40, who were befriended by the King of Pop when they were little boys and allegedly abused by him until they reached puberty at 14.
But they might not be alone, says Reed.
Speaking to , he said: “Sadly, it turns out he was a sexual predator, and I think a lot of people are going to rethink their view of him.
“I believe there were many other victims... I’m sure there are others out there who will come out when the time is right for them. We’ll see.”
Reed also drew comparisons with the late DJ Jimmy Savile, who sexually assaulted hundreds of women and children in a campaign of abuse lasting more than 50 years.
He said “It turned out that he was a violent, prolific child rapist with hundreds of victims.
“And it took a long time for that to be accepted. So by the time I made this film that case was already well known.”

The allegations made in the film have come under fire, not least from Michael Jackson’s estate.
It has vehemently denounced the documentary, attacking the credibility of Robson and Safechuck, as well as the filmmaker for not including other voices who knew Jackson.
But Reed said: "It's the story of these two families and not of all the other people who were or weren't abused by Michael Jackson.
"How is interviewing a person who was friends with Jackson who saw nothing going to help me tell the story? The fact that Jackson for many hours in the day was not abusing children doesn't mean that for several hours a day he wasn't."
As for Wade Robson, he believes Jackson was an extremely complex figure and there were aspects to him that were good and there were things he did in his life that were positive.
But he said: “He was also a sick man who sexually abused us and I believe many others.
"It's just not black and white. These things exist at the same time. Hopefully we can all just open our minds about that.”
Jackson, who died in 2009 of a drug overdose, strongly denied all allegations of sexual abuse made against him.
