A KIND-HEARTED teacher has cut her hair to match her five-year-old pupil who was bullied by the other kids for her short haircut.
Shannon Grimm, from Texas, saw Priscilla Perez endure bullying during her winter break, and decided to take a stand - cutting off her waist-length hair.
Priscilla was reportedly blown away to see her teacher’s matching chop when she returned from holidays.
The 31-year-old told: “I told them, ‘I think I look beautiful. Don’t you think I do?’ I had to show them boys have long hair like girls and girls have short hair like boys.”
Priscilla’s confidence received a big boost from her teacher’s show of solidarity, and the little girl got another treat – a variety of matching bows for the pair to wear when they’re in school.
Apparently, Shannon never lets her forget it’s time to put them on.
“That bow represents strength, family, someone (who) has her back.”
Grimm said the little girl told her: “'When I get big like you, I will have friends who will be mean to me, but I will be nice to them just like you’.”
