‘Terror apologists’ CAGE blasted for calling for jihadi bride Shamima Begum to ‘be allowed back into UK’
TERROR apologists have been blasted for urging the Government to allow an ISIS bride to return to the UK.
Shamima Begum, 19, should be “counselled by her community” and not be punished, CAGE said.
But Home Secretary Sajid Javid said he “will not hesitate to prevent” her return.
He added: “We must remember that those who left Britain to join [IS] were full of hate for our country.
“My message is clear — if you have supported terrorist organisations abroad I will not hesitate to prevent your return. If you do manage to return you should be ready to be questioned, investigated and potentially prosecuted.”
CAGE’s Moazzam Begg said pregnant Begum must acknowledge how ISIS “deviated” from the principles of Islam and “brought misery to the world”.
The Sun on Sunday Says — Keep jihadis out, Sajid
SAJID JAVID is spot on when he says Britain must do everything to prevent ISIS terrorist supporters returning to this country.
The apologists calling for ISIS bride Shamima Begum to be whisked back behave as if they have the moral high ground.
This is the same group who called terrorist butcher Jihadi John a “beautiful man.’’
As the Home Secretary says: “Those who left Britain to join terrorists in Syria were full of hate for our country.’’
We should show them equal contempt. And keep them all out.

The campaigners were once branded “apologists for terror” by Boris Johnson and caused outrage by calling IS butcher Jihadi John a “beautiful man”.
Begum married ISIS fighter Yago Riedijk days after arriving in Syria in 2015 aged 15.
ISIS facing Syria end
SYRIAN forces backed by the US will capture the last ISIS enclave in the country “in a very short time”, the battle commander has said.
The victory will bring the jihadist group to the brink of total territorial defeat, it was claimed.
Jiya Furat said the Syrian Democratic Forces had the remaining militants cornered and under fire from all sides in one tiny neighbourhood.
He warned that “thousands of civilians are still trapped as human shields” in Baghouz.
But he added: “In the coming few days we will spread the good tidings to the world of the military end of [IS].”
