Boy, 9, dies in front of distraught sister after ‘getting clothes stuck in playground ride’
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and the youngster was rushed to Royal Darwin Hospital, but he could not be saved
A NINE-YEAR-OLD boy has died in front of his distraught sister after reportedly getting his clothes stuck in a playground ride.
Seth Tran Anderson is believed to have used an item of clothing to reach the handles of a small zip-line before getting stuck.
He fell unconscious at the park in Darwin, Australia, and the frantic efforts of his siblings couldn’t save him.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and the youngster was rushed to Royal Darwin Hospital, but he could not be saved.
Police are investigating his death, but said so far indications were that it occurred "as a result of misadventure".
Reports claim the little boy was playing on the flying fox – a king of short zipline - when he tried to reach the handles and became entangled.
