RACHEL Johnson made jaws drop when she went topless live on Sky News in a Brexit protest last night.
Boris Johnson's remainer sister Rachel Johnson left her co-hosts blushing as she whipped off her top and introduced Sky News show The Pledge apparently topless, inspired by a Cambridge professor who staged a naked protest earlier on in the week.
The journalist, and sister of arch-Brexiteer and Tory MP Boris Johnson, flashed the flesh in response to Dr Victoria Bateman's naked appearance on BBC Radio 4 and GMB.
Rachel told viewers: “As I know it can be hard to get your voice heard about Brexit nowadays.
“It feels like we’ve hit saturation point. Enter pro-EU campaigner Victoria Bateman who’s come up with a striking way this week to get herself noticed.
“Appearing across the media completely starkers to make various points about Brexit – leaving Britain naked.
“So in tribute to Dr Bateman I’ve decided to follow suit – every time we decide to talk about Brexit just to make sure I get noticed.”
Rachel’s co-presenters were in fits of giggles when she started unbuttoning her shirt – with Carole Malone pointing out that Nick Ferrari had gone completely red faced.
But Rachel later revealed not all was what it seemed - tweeting that she was wearing a boob-tube.
Dr Bateman made her naked protest by writing “Brexit leaves Britain naked” across her body as she was interviewed by John Humphrys, on the Radio 4 Today programme.
She was later interviewed by Richard Madeley during a cringeworthy segment on GMB on Tuesday.
Dr Bateman said she had written thousands of words in her role as an economist to warn against Brexit.
She added: "The key message that I have is that Brexit is the Emperor's new clothes. It's just not possible to deliver."
Dr Victoria Bateman has even invited prominent Tory Brexiteer Jacob Rees-Mogg challenged to take off his clothes and hold a naked debate on Brexit.
