A YOUNG mum found dead at her son's hospital bedside is believed to have had swine flu, her distraught family say.
Tragic Sarah Jane Brazil was discovered unresponsive next to her boy Dean, six, who had reportedly been struck down with a bad chest infection and asthma.
The 32-year-old was found on the floor beside Dean's bed, her devastated mum has claimed.
Dean was brought in to a ward at Children's Health, Tallaght Hospital, in Ireland last Sunday.
Sarah Jane felt unwell and went to check herself in as an outpatient. When she heard nothing she went back the next day but was told she’d have to wait 14 hours.
Earlier this week, her distraught mother Christine told the Sun: “I think in the end she just didn’t want to leave her child. She was found unresponsive on the floor.
“It came as such a shock. It was just so sudden. Did no one see how sick she was? She was neglected by the system.”
'SHE HAD SWINE FLU'
Sarah Jane, from Dublin, was laid to rest yesterday.
But Sarah's loved ones say they've been told her coffin must remain sealed - due to the concerns that swine flu killed her.
Christine said her daughter - a "beautiful person" who "lived for her children" - had started feeling unwell before she passed away.
Hundreds of mourners attended the Church of the Sacred Heart in Killinarden, , for her funeral mass.
FOUND DEAD NEXT TO SON'S HOSPITAL BED
A letter read out on behalf of Sarah Jane’s heartbroken daughter Caitlin, 13, outlined the devastating effect her death has had on her family.
The youngster said: “Never in my life did I think I’d be writing something like this. It’s hard to wrap my head around that you’re gone.
“It hasn’t hit me yet really but you were so young and beautiful, you’d do anything for your family.
“It just breaks my heart that you’re gone and it’s horrible thinking that I’ll never see you again.
“I’ll never have someone that I can tell everything too. You weren’t only my Mam, you were my best friend. I just miss you so much.

Sarah Jane's mum Christine
“Our family are in bits, it’s hard to be strong and to keep it together.
“Until we meet again, rest in peace my beautiful Mam.”
Sarah Jane’s coffin was brought to the small, local church in a horse-drawn carriage, while a mini-bus drove some mourners.
Caitlin and her friends wore t-shirts of the tragic mum, while also carrying white roses.
Father Fintan O’Driscoll said: “Life can seem very cruel and unfair sometimes. Her family have described Sarah Jane as a great mother, who lived for her children.
“She would give anyone her last cent. She was an angel, a saint, a beautiful person, inside and out. We have lots of different emotions, angry, angry with God and that’s ok.

“God knows we’re angry at losing such a good person. We don’t have easy answers.
“Each and every one of you will have your own memories of Sarah Jane, in your hearts and in your minds.”
Her partner Martin and the couple’s two children were comforted by friends and family, along with her parents Christine and Denis.
