Cops ‘extremely concerned’ for missing student Daniel Williams, 19, who vanished after night out
Daniel Williams was last seen in a student union bar in Reading before he went missing
COPS are frantically trying to find a university student who went missing after a night out earlier this week.
Daniel Williams, 19, was last seen at around midnight in a student union bar on Whiteknights campus at the University of Reading, Thames Valley Police said.
He was reported missing after he failed to return to his student accommodation.
Investigating officer Sergeant Bradley Pitt said: "We are appealing for anyone with information about Daniel's whereabouts to get in contact with police as we are extremely concerned for his welfare.
"It is out of character for Daniel to be missing so please report any possible sightings of him to officers as soon as possible."
In his second year studying computer science, Mr Williams is described as 6ft tall, slim build, with short light brown hair and blue eyes.
He wrote: "My mate Daniel Williams has gone missing. First mate I had at Reading Uni. If anyone hears of anything please report it to the Thames Valley Police ASAP. Last seen Wednesday."
In an unconnected incident University of Hull student Libby Squire who went missing on Thursday night after taking a cab from a nightclub.
It's claimed Libby got out of the taxi at Haworth Street and walked to a bench. She was later seen by a motorist on Beverley Road near the junction with Beresford Avenue around 11.45pm.
Now, her mum Lisa Squire has made a desperate plea for her return on Facebook.
"I'm broken without my pie. Libby Squire come home," she said.
