THE body of a missing restaurant worker, 29, has been found "encased" in the ice of a frozen swimming pool.
Pals of chef Jose Quiroz Marcial, 29, raised the alarm when he went missing in December - but his corpse was found stuck in an abandoned pool earlier this week.
Cops in New Hope cut Mexican-born Marcial free from the ice, before rifling through his wallet to work out his real ID.
He had been found by a builder who was renovating the nearby Logan Inn restaurant.
Colleagues at the Station restaurant in Lambertville told how Marcial worked his way up from a dishwasher to one of the top chefs in just five years - but went missing in late December.
They believed he had been detained by US immigration officials.
