One lucky winner is £9.3million richer after winning tonight's life-changing amount

NATIONAL Lottery players have been urged to check their tickets tonight after one lucky winner scooped the £9.3million jackpot.

The results of Wednesday's draw revealed the winning numbers as 57, 36, 51, 17, 03, 42 and bonus number 18.

Camelot have said just one UK winner matched all six numbers and won a life-changing £9,370,844.

Meanwhile two other lucky winners scooped £1million after matching five of the six numbers.

There were no winners of tonight's Thunderball £500,000 after the numbers were revealed as 02, 03, 22, 28, 35, and Thunderball number of 09.

The massive win for one lucky ticket holder comes just hours after the National Lottery revealed there are still £9million in UNCLAIMED winnings.

One player, who bought their ticket in Hillingdon in west London on July 13, must claim their ticket by the end of today or miss out on their £1m win.

If no-one comes forward with the winning tickets before the prize claim deadline, then the money will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

Other unclaimed £1m tickets include one bought in Derby on September 25 and another purchased in Bromley on November 16 last year.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at , said: "Time really is running out.

"We’re urging everyone to check their old tickets one final time or look anywhere a missing EuroMillions ticket could be hiding.

Last week Frances and Patrick Connolly scooped £115m on the EuroMillions jackpot on New Year's Day and revealed they will dish out half their fortune to 50 lucky friends and family.
