Entering the EuroMillions costs £2.50 a ticket and includes automatic entry into the raffle, which creates millionaires every week with £1m prizes.

One player, who bought their ticket in Hillingdon in west London on July 13, must claim their ticket by the end of today or miss out on their £1m win.

If no-one comes forward with the winning tickets before the prize claim deadline, then the money will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

Last week Frances and Patrick Connolly scooped £115m on the EuroMillions jackpot on New Year's Day.

They said they will dish out half their fortune to 50 lucky friends and family.
