The hall of shame: Famous women who have cheated on their partners
ACTRESS Kristen Stewart has caused a media frenzy after news broke that she cheated on boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
Kristen and Rob were seen as one of Hollywood's leading couples, with rumours rife that he was set to propose to the 22-year-old before news hit that she had been photographed in a steamy clinch with married director Rupert Sanders, 41.
Since the scandal broke Rob has been left devastated by the betrayal and Kristen has made a begging public apology to try and win him back.
However Kristen isn't the first famous lady to go astray and do the dirty on their partner. Here we take a look at other women who shocked the world with their wandering ways.
Denise Welch
Former Loose Women host Denise, 54, married second husband Tim Healy in 1988.
She admitted to having an affair after developing severe depression as well as a drug and alcohol addiction during the course of their marriage.
Tim stuck by Denise through her troubles and forgave her for cheating, but the couple announced that they had separated earlier this year.
Millie Mackintosh
Made In Chelsea Star Millie Mackintosh, 23, was subjected to a very public humiliation by her co-star and then boyfriend Hugo Taylor when she discovered he had cheated on her with one of their mutual friends.
All sorts of vicious rows ensued, with Millie even dashing a drink into Hugo's face at a party, however it was later revealed on the show that Millie had also played the field during their relationship and in fact cheated first, when she admitted she had been unfaithful whilst on holiday and didn't mention it because she "didn't think he would find out".
Lucy Mecklenburgh
TOWIE star Lucy Mecklenburgh, 20, famously confessed to cheating on her now-fiance Mario Falcone with ex-lover Mark Wright in heart-wrenching scenes on the hit show where she begged Mario to forgive her for the 'mistake'.
Lucy spent weeks denying the claims, causing all kinds of drama, before finally admitting the truth.
She eventually reconciled her romance with Mario after making a speech at a party where she apologised to him and declared her undying love.
Meg Ryan
Meg Ryan, 50, married fellow film star Dennis Quaid on Valentine's Day in 1991 after they starred in two movies together. However things took a turn for the worse in 2000 when she met Hollywood bad boy Russell Crowe on the Set of Proof Of life.
The pair quickly became romantically involved and she and Quaid separated and
finalised their divorce in July 2001. However the romance was short-lived and Meg ended their relationship after just a few months.
Claire Richards
Steps star Claire Richards, 34, has openly admitted that she cheated on her first husband, dancer Mark Webb.
The singer says she always knew Mark wasn't right for her but still married him regardless, so when the opportunity to cheat with ex-boyband member Dane Bowers - who had said he found her attractive tobandmate Lee Latchford Evans - arose, she took it.
Amanda Holden
TV babe Amanda Holden, 41, had been married to comedian Les Dennis for five years when a shock story hit the press that she was having an affair with men Behaving Badly actor Neil Morrissey.
At the time Les was taking part in Celebrity Big Brother.
Following on from the affair Amanda and Les did try to save their marriage but they eventually separated in late 2002 and were divorced in 2003.
Zoe Ball
Radio host Zoe Ball, 41, married DJ Norman 'Fatboy Slim' Cook in 1999. However
in 2003 the couple were torn apart when Zoe confessed to cheating on Norman with his DJ pal Dan Peppe.
The pair separated, however they later decided to give things another go and are still happily married now.
