Britain’s biggest family reveal epic festive celebrations with £5k on presents, 70 rolls of wrapping paper and Christmas dinner around two tables

THE woman at the helm of Britain’s biggest family has revealed the epic scale of their Christmas.
Sue Radford, 43, and her husband Noel, 47, became parents for the 21st time earlier this year with the birth Bonnie-Raye.
The eldest two Radford children Chris, 30, and Sophie, 25 no longer live at the family’s ten-bedroom converted care home in Morecambe, Lancs.
But they will be joining Chloe, 23, Jack, 21, Daniel, 19, Luke, 18, Millie, 17, Katie, 15, James, 14, Ellie, 13, Aimee, 12, Josh, 11, Max, nine, Tillie, eight, Oscar, seven, Casper, six, Hallie, three, Phoebe, two,14-month-old Archie and Bonnie Raye for Christmas.
The couple famously don’t claim any other benefits apart from Child Benefit and rely on Noel’s bakery business to make ends meet.
The bill for presents is around £5000 for the family with a budget of ranging from £100 to £200, for the older children.
On Christmas morning each child finds an apple and an orange in their stocking, as well as fillers like colouring pencils, small toys and books.
All the money is saved up throughout the year and the children are given small amount to buy presents.
“We save for it over the year, putting money away in an account. I do supermarket savings stamps for the food shop too,” Sue told the Daily Mail.
Sue says in a 15-minute session she can wrap 20 gifts and goes through around 70 rolls but spreads the task out to avoid causing pain.
“One of our biggest headaches at Christmas is where to hide all the gifts. We have them everywhere – even in the boiler cupboard. The trick is remembering where!”
When it comes to stocking up for the big day the family fills up two shopping trolleys with £400 – £500 of food for Christmas dinner for 30, including grandparents and four grandchildren.
The turkey is also always cooked by Noel and comes with all the trimmings.
That’s 22lb kilos of potatoes, 9lbs of carrots, 5.5 lbs of Brussels sprouts, two cabbages, 60 Yorkshire puddings, and at least 80 pigs in blankets.
Their family dining table seats 16 so some of the family have to squeeze around the island unit.
“We should really get a bigger table, but I’m not sure you can,” said Sue.
