Killer dad Chris Watts pictured behind bars for first time after admitting murdering pregnant wife and daughters

KILLER dad Chris Watts can be seen having his finger and footprints taken in newly revealed footage.

Watts is seen entering the communal area of the Weld County Jail in Colorado while officers check to make sure there are no other inmates present.

Once the room is cleared, prosecutors from the district attorney’s office and the lead detective on the case enter and begin getting the evidence they need.

The video was filmed one week after the court granted prosecutors the right to take the prints, a request that Watts and his defence team fought hard against at the time.

Prosecutors and members of the Fredericks Police Department had already been granted the right to the prints, but filed an order asking that agents from the Colorado Bureau of Investigations also be allowed to do the same given their role in the case.

Watts says very little and has no real interaction as his hands are photographed and printed, after which he is seen washing his hands, reports.

He then takes a long shower after the prints are taken.

Watts was eventually moved to a Colorado facility after a judge ruled he was to serve five life sentences without parole for the murders of Shanann, Celeste and Bella Watts.

Last week cops released harrowing pics of his tragic wife's bloodied underwear.

The monster had lied to police hours after murdering his pregnant spouse and smothering his two little girls to death in their beds.

Documents show he did an internet search for Metallica lyrics shortly after he buried Shanann in a shallow grave and dumped his daughters' bodies in oil tanks.

Watts had been having a secret affair with lover Nichol Kessinger who has insisted she had no inkling of his evil plan.
