Teen suspected of waterboarding 15-year-old Syrian refugee Jamal comes from a family with convictions for far-right offences

THE teen suspected of waterboarding a Syrian schoolboy comes from a family with convictions for far-right offences.
His brother was jailed after a Britain First rally erupted in violence.
And his mother was fined for screaming racist abuse at a shop owner.
West Yorkshire Police confirmed a 16-year-old boy is set to be charged with assault over the ‘waterboarding’ incident.
A spokesman said: "A 16-year-old youth has been interviewed and reported for summons, for an offence of assault. He will appear at Youth Court in due course."
Cops also said they were investigating footage of another attack on Jamal’s sister, where a young girl in a headscarf was taunted and shoved by school pupils.

The revelations come as a crowdfunding appeal for the 15-year-old victim, known as Jamal, topped £150,000.
He was set upon at Almondbury Community School, Huddersfield.
The family’s solicitor is suing far-right activist Tommy Robinson over “false and defamatory allegations” Jamal had been involved in a gang attack on a white girl.
