A BLOODIED man used his dying words to name his girlfriend as the person who shot him in harrowing footage shown to a court in a murder trial.
The graphic video shows Larry Atwood, 58, lying in a pool of his own blood as he says "She shot me... Elizabeth Talyor".
Taylor, 71, has been charged with first-degree murder for fatally gunning down her boyfriend while they were driving in October last year.
Jurors in a Texas court were shown the shocking clip during her murder trial in Beaumont this week.
Multiple witnesses stopped to help Larry when then spotted him stumbling along the highway and have testified in court.
One said his shirt was covered in blood and he kept repeating: "Help me, help me. She shot me!"
When asked who shot him, Antwood can be heard saying: "Elizabeth Taylor... She lives on Cooks Lake Road."
Atwood was pronounced dead after being rushed to hospital.
Taylor admitted shooting Larry but said she was the victim of domestic abuse and that she acted in self defence.
The court heard the gun accidentally fired during a confrontation in the car as Larry grabbed her arm.
She said on Wednesday that Larry hit her, grabbed her hair and tried to suffocate her as he drove her truck down the highway.
Managing to break free, Taylor says she went for her .38-calibre revolver.
She claims Larry dared her to shoot him but she wasn't aiming the gun at him when it fired, shooting him in the stomach.
Earlier she had warned him: "You put your hands on me again, I'm going to shoot you. I'm not going to let you do that again and get away with it."
Taylor fled the scene drove to her son's house, knowing that she was in trouble, prosecutors said.
Her son David Walters told jurors his mother had a black eye, swollen cheeks and a skinned nose when she arrived.
She told him: "I think I might be in trouble. I might've shot Larry."
Taylor faces life in prison for the killing but has pleaded not guilty to the charges against her.
