‘Syrian refugee’ boy bullying video – which school did it take place in and how much has the crowdfunding page raised?
A HORRIFYING video showing a Syrian “refugee lad” being beaten up and then “waterboarded” at a British school has led to an investigation.
The alleged bullies were questioned after deciding to publicise the attack on the schoolboy on social media.
Which school did it take place in?
The incident happened on playing fields at Almondbury Community School in Huddersfield on October 25.
The Sun Online pledged to not show videos of children being bullied in our Block The Bullying Campaign.
Superintendent Steve Dodds, of West Yorkshire Police Kirklees District, said officers were investigating a report of a racially-aggravated assault of a teenager.
A 16-year-old boy has now been charged with assault, cops say.
What happened in the video?
The victim is shown with his arm in a cast being dragged to the floor by his neck as his attacker says "I'll drown you".
The sick "bully" then pours a bottle of water on the boy's face while pals cheer him.
What has the alleged bully said himself?
The 16-year-old denied he had been bullying the classmate and claimed the pair had been "on good terms".
In a handwritten statement to The Sun Online, the youth denied he was a racist - just hours after he was charged with common assault by cops.
He said: "I fully accept responsibility for my actions which I regret but wish to make it clear I was not responsible for breaking his arm, nor had I been bullying him over a period of time as has been reported."

How much has the crowdfunding page raised?
The page has raised more than £33,000 for the boy's family who are said to be refugees who are struggling to make ends meet.
In a statement, the family said the boy’s sister had been subjected to constant racial abuse by her own peer group since joining the school.
It is alleged the bullying had become so severe that the boy's sister locked herself in a school toilet, broke her spectacles and cut her own wrist in an attempt at suicide.
