Farrokh Bulsara was born, who later became known as Freddie Mercury.
He was born on 5 September in Zanzibar, Tanzania.
1954
He started school in St Peters English Boarding School near Bombay, India.
1964
He moved to Middlesex, England with his family at the age of 17.
1967
He joined the band "Smile"
1970
Freddie met Mary Austin when she was working in a West London boutique.
"Queen" was founded after Mercury took over the lead singer in Smile and renamed it Queen.
1975
"A Night At The Opera album was released by Queen, which included the song Bohemian Rhapsody.
The band toured in Japan.
1977
