A TERRIFYING video shows a man screaming for help as he desperately clings to the windscreen of a stolen van.
Cops are now hunting the culprits after the worker was left with "life-threatening" injuries when he was thrown from the vehicle travelling at 30mph in Coventry on Monday.
Footage of the incident before he was hurt shows the unnamed victim lying on the windscreen of a white transit van as it roars down a suburban street.
Wearing a high-vis vest and a grey beanie, he can be heard repeatedly shouting "help" as shocked bystanders film the surreal scene.
But there's nothing anyone on the road can do as the van quickly screeches round a corner out of sight - with the helpless worker still hugging the bonnet.
The astonishing footage has already been viewed over 343,000 times on social media after it was shared online yesterday.
West Midlands Police confirmed that no arrests have been made in connection with the incident and that the victim remains in a life-threatening condition.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said: "An ambulance was on the scene within five minutes and was backed up by a further ambulance, a paramedic officer and the Air Ambulance Service critical care car with a doctor on board.
"On arrival, ambulance staff found a man who had suffered very serious injuries."
