CHANGED EUR MIND?

Brexit – how would your area vote in a second referendum?

A BREXIT deal is well underway, but some anti-democratic campaigners are still refusing to accept the result of our historic vote.

They say we need another referendum to make sure everyone voted properly before - even after 17.5million people opted to Leave - and knew what that meant.

What would Britain look like if we voted again?

What would Britain look like if we voted again?

Now expert pollsters from Survation have carried out extensive research trying to prove that we need another vote.

They talked to 20,000 people across the UK to look at what would happen if Theresa May called a snap Brexit vote tomorrow, something she's already ruled out many times.

The results show that more people would now want to stay than quit. Of course, almost all the polls in the run up to the 2016 referendum said the same thing, so let's take the results with a huge pinch of salt.

So how would your area supposedly vote if we had another go?

Boston would still be the region with the highest leave vote - at around 70 per cent opting again to quit the bloc.

Other key leave areas including Thurrock, Castle Point, Rotherham, Doncaster, Scarborough and Great Yarmouth would still want to come out.

Regionally, the East of England would still want to leave, along with the East Midlands, Yorkshire and the Humber and the South West.

Scotland, Northern Ireland and London still want to Remain in the bloc.

But other areas have attracted more Remain voters than back in 2018 - pushing a possible vote in Remain's area.

Voters in Newham and Barking in London were most likely to change their minds, with big swings from Leave to Remain.

But those in Harrogate and East Renfrewshire, Scotland, saw their votes basically unchanged from before.

You can find your area by the interactive map below.

Campaigners have been battling for another referendum on our EU membership for years - and last month 700,000 Brits marched on London to demand another vote.

Last weekend a desperate Tony Blair urged MPs to vote down Mrs May's final deal in a last ditch attempt to try and overturn the last result.

And fascinating maps created by mapping and analytics company Esri UK revealed how the two Britains would look if the entire country was divided physically into Leave and Remain land - based on the 2016 poll.

The map shows how the UK would appear if majority Leave areas were removed
