US midterm election results – more of a blue rinse than a blue wave

Results are coming in as the Democrats attempt to wrest control of the House from Donald Trump - the Senate already looks beyond them.

Emboldened Democrats look likely to win a majority in the Republican-controlled House of Representatives but not the Senate. They've won 23 of the 23 Republican-held they need (although they've lost a seat, too, so they now need 24 "flips" in total).
If Trump's party does lose control of the House, his opponents could examine his personal finances and alleged links to Russia
