Man’s penis, testicles and eyelids chopped off and placed on fireplace in brutal killing as woman in her 40s held
A woman in her 40s is being questioned by police after the gruesome find in Dublin, Ireland
A WOMAN is being questioned after a man was found dead with his penis, testicles and eyelids cut off.
Limbani Mzoma, aged in his 20s, is understood to have bled to death following a horrifying attack at a house in a leafy suburb of Dublin on Thursday.
His mutilated body was discovered at around 11.30pm, just hours after gardai had been called to a disturbance at the house, in the Foxrock area in the South of the Irish capital.
The suspected attacker, who was taken to Dun Laoghaire Garda Station after her arrest, is aged in her 40s and is understood to have known the victim. Both are described as African nationals.
Gardai were expected to officially upgrade their investigation to a murder probe as it emerged that the man had been savagely dismembered by at least one sharp instrument.
A source told the Sun last night: “It is being treated as a mutilation.
"It is believed there were other people in the house and gardai will want to speak to them as part of their investigation.
“It’s a communal house, and there had been a number of incidents there.”
One local resident told how the community has been plunged into shock by the gruesome death.
They said: “It’s a bit scary, really. I’ve seen the man coming in and out of the house but I don’t know him.
“It’s quite a close-knit community, there’s a WhatsApp group and everyone keeps each other up to date with what’s going on in the estate, but I don’t think they were really known by many, they weren’t in the group.
“We’re here a while and nothing like this has ever happened around here, we can’t believe it. It’s such a quiet and safe area.”
Another neighbour recalled seeing gardai lead people from the house during the unfolding “chaos” of Thursday night.
She said: “I was in bed when I saw all the flashing lights go by. I’m shocked. It’s really terrifying to hear something like this happening on your doorstep.
“I watched as the gardai took three people away, two men and a woman and it was just chaos really, there were flashing lights for hours.
“I think there were loads of people in the house.”
It’s understood gardai called to the house on Thursday afternoon after receiving complaints about shouting.
The Sun has learned that officers were regularly called to the house, and several locals spoke of having had trouble with some of its occupants in the past.
One woman, who did not want to be named, explained: “A lot of us have had to call the guards on this house to be honest, there was always something going on.
“There were so many people in it at all times, or so it seemed, and I think everyone accepted that there was regularly drink involved.
“Last night wasn’t the first time gardai were at that front door and I think there have been serious incidents in the past.”
There was a heavy garda presence in the area as Assistant Garda Commissioner Pat Leahy visited the scene yesterday morning.

One evidence bag taken from the house appeared to contain a pair of scissors.
