More than 300 million copies of Jin Yong's works have been sold worldwide.

Yong was married three times and has four children.

Which books are his best selling novels?

After an early career as journalist he published his first novel The Book and The Sword in 1955.

His best known series of books is the Condor Trilogy which featured Legends Of The Condor Heroes in 1957, followed by The Return of the Condor Heroes in 1959 and The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber in 1961.

The first novel is set in the Southern Song Dynasty at the beginning of the Jurchen Invasion of China around the 1100s.
