PREGNANT Meghan Markle looked adoringly at Prince Harry as she was back by his side today after exhaustion forced her to "rest" during the whirlwind Australian tour.
The Duchess, who is 12 weeks pregnant, was told by Prince Harry to "cut back" and stay at home as he cheered on Invictus Games athletes in Sydney on Sunday morning.
Harry reportedly told sportsmen the duchess was "resting back at home, being pregnant takes its toll".
But the former Suits actress later emerged to attend a lunch with Australia Prime Minister Scott Morrison at The Pavilion Restaurant.
And the prince appeared thrilled to have his wife back by his side - immediately giving her a kiss and taking her hand as they walked into the restaurant together.
Meghan had a beaming smile and wore a classy white pinstripe blazer, over black jeans, a black roll neck and heels.
A source told the Sun: “She wants to do everything but Prince Harry is encouraging her to pace herself.
“We have to try to pace her. She had a very late night last night."
A Kensington Palace spokesman added: "After a busy programme, The Duke and Duchess have decided to cut back The Duchess's schedule slightly for the next couple of days, ahead of the final week and a half of the tour."
The pair are on day six of the tour of Australia, New Zealand and Fiji - and last night's Invictus Games ceremony ran over its scheduled time due to thunder storms.
It was another packed day as the pair met athletes and children, went sailing, lunched with the PM and Harry even found time to squeeze into some budgie smuggler trunks.
Harry waited for ten minutes for Meghan to arrive, as she pulled up in a silver car after taking a rest from the activities.
They later took to the waves on boat, sharing loving glances as they got a better vantage point for the sailing races.
Harry had to go solo to dish out medals and meet athletes in the morning.
The first gold medal of the day went to Britain's IR3 cyclist and ex-soldier Andrew White.
And Harry was even asked to sign a pair of 'budgie smuggler' Speedos by the cheekie chappies on the Australian team.
The Prince saw the funny side as one of the competitors popped the tint swimming garment over his head.
Later, a Paralympian gold medallist twisted his arm and convinced the Prince to squeeze into the tiny pants, which he pulled over his jeans on Australian TV.
Dylan Alcott, who is a triple Paralympic gold medallist in wheelchair tennis and wheelchair basketball, said: "I think [the budgie smugglers] did wonders for him. It looked good. He should make it official.
"I reckon the Duchess will love them. But who knows? Maybe not."
The pair then reunited for lunch with the Oz PM, which also featured mental health groups for veterans, Australian Air Force Cadets and Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation.
Children gave them presents including a soft toy and a "good luck" poster.
Then the couple were ferried off in a boat to watch the Invictus sailors from the water.
They will later visit Fraser Island - a heritage site and the largest sand island in the world.
But Meghan will wait and see how she feels before deciding whether to join the planned trek - with the island's terrain notoriously hard to navigate.
Meghan is still due to fly to Fiji and Tonga but it is expected to readjust her schedule.
Their tour has already seen them visit the Sydney Opera House, met farmer families in Dubbo, joined a yoga circle on Bondi Beach and Harry climbed Sydney Harbour Bridge to raise the flag on the games.
Meghan has stunned in glam outfits that showed off her growing baby bump.
The first ever Invictus Games took place in March 2014 at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London, United Kingdom.
In Latin, Invictus means "unconquered" or "undefeated", capturing the spirit of the injured services personnel who take part.
