THE Brit cyclist killed by a French hunter deserved to be shot like an animal, his sister said last night.
Tributes were paid to Mark Sutton, 34, after he was gunned down by a marksman who apparently mistook him for prey.
But sister Katie Toghill, 32, says he did her family a favour by killing Sutton, who she claimed repeatedly raped and beat her when they were kids.
Sutton fled abroad after he was confronted years later by Katie and their mum Katrina, who last night branded her dead son a “monster”.
Katie told The Sun last night: “He was a rapist c*** and I’m glad he’s dead.
“When I heard he had been killed I felt utter relief, it was a massive burden off my back. I was just relieved he couldn’t hurt us or anyone again.

“He deserved to be shot like an animal — he was the biggest animal there was.
“They hunted the right animal. I want the killer to get off because he did us a favour.

“It was karma and I knew it would get him one day.
“It was a shame he died so quickly, I would’ve liked to have taken the lead out of him slowly and known he was lying there dying. He deserved to be tortured to death.”
Sutton was killed by a single gunshot while riding his mountain bike on Saturday at the Les Gets Alpine ski resort.
He ran the Wild Beets Kitchen vegetarian restaurant there with his partner after moving to France around six years ago. It is not suggested she knew of his past.
He put us all through hell, now it’s his turn to go to hell and rot.

The 22-year-old hunter was taken to hospital suffering from shock and is currently under police investigation.
Mum-of-one Katie, who chose to waive her anonymity, said of her brother: “I want everyone to know what scum he was. I’m fed up of the nice messages I’ve read about him saying ‘poor guy’.
“I despise it. The comments made me cringe saying how much of a lovely chap he was.”
She said he started raping and beating her when she was eight years old at the home they shared with their mum in Caerphilly, South Wales.

Katie, who has a year-old daughter and now lives in Nantyglo, Wales, went on: “He would take advantage of me in his bedroom while mum was downstairs. He threatened that if I told anyone he would kill me, everyone would hate me, and no one would believe me.
“I knew it was wrong, I knew he shouldn’t be doing it.
“I didn’t know it was rape, but I knew it wasn’t normal behaviour between brother and sister. I was in shock after.
“He carried on doing it again and again. It was every few weeks, I think he attacked me around 100 times. I was petrified. He said we’d be split up and put in care if I told anyone. I couldn’t be away from my mam. I kept quiet for so many years.”

She said Sutton also regularly beat her, going on: “He kicked me, put hands round my neck, held screwdrivers and knives to my neck and threatened to kill me. He punched me and pushed me down the stairs, and jammed my foot in the car door.”
Their mum, now of Cwmtillery, said she had no idea of the abuse but struggled to cope with her son who was in trouble from an early age.
She said: “At four, three days after starting school, I was told to take him away and not bring him back. He tried to stab another kid with a dinner knife. He was arrested at 11 for threatening another child with a knife. Katie was a timid little thing, I now know why.”
At 11, Sutton went into care for 18 months due to unruly behaviour. But he would return home on day visits and rape Katie while they were upstairs.
Sutton finally stopped the attacks when she was 13.
Katie said: “One day he went to attack me and I said I was having periods and so I could get pregnant and everyone would find out. I was lying but I was desperate and it worked.” However Katie still could not tell her mum.
Meanwhile, Sutton’s violent outbursts continued after he left school at 15 and got a factory job with his stepdad.
He began dating a girl, Ann-Marie Mounty, but smashed her windows after he was dumped. He went to hospital with cuts and was sectioned.
This man was a monster. A bullet aimed at an animal. You aimed well. Karma called on you
Katrina
Ann-Marie, 33, of Caerphilly, yesterday told The Sun she “cried with relief” after hearing he had been killed.
She said: “He put us all through hell, now it’s his turn to go to hell and rot. They painted him out to be some sort of angel. We know what he’s like. He got off lightly really. He was a psycho.”
Another victim included a girl called Shelley, who he met after moving to Ibiza aged 18.
The pair returned to the UK and lived in Preston while she was at university.
But on a weekend visit home, Sutton punched Shelley in the face during a row, shattering her cheekbone and injuring her eye.
Sutton fled without his shoes but was arrested the next day and jailed for six months.
Meanwhile, Katie joined the Army at 17 as a medic — and it was while she was on weekend leave the truth came out. She said: “He went rummaging through my suitcase. My underwear was being flung everywhere and it creeped me out and I snapped.
“He wanted to know what I was wearing under my clothes and it felt like he was undressing me again.
“I just burst out and told mum what he had done to me for all those years. He ran upstairs to his room.”
Shocked Katrina recalled: “I didn’t believe her. I know he was a s*** of a child but he was my kid.
He was cowering in the corner, sobbing and whimpering. He sat there rocking back and forth like a caged animal not saying anything. But he never denied it. I never came across anything like this. There had never been anything like that in my family. Why would you look at your kids and think that?”
Sutton fled back to Ibiza before travelling through Asia then moving to France.
He was never seen again by Katie or his mum.
Katie, discharged from the Army after five years with nerve damage in her leg, said she felt suicidal but never told police. She said: “I couldn’t do it. I told my GP, health worker, support worker, even my doctor in the Army but I never went to the police. I’ve been depressed for years. I wanted to kill myself several times.”
Katrina announced on Facebook: “I hope you rot in hell Mark Thomas Sutton.
“My only disappointment is you died instantly. For any horrified people reading this, I’m not some vicious troll. I’m the woman who gave birth to him and has had to live with the knowledge that he repeatedly raped my daughter.”
She added: “This man was a monster. A bullet aimed at an animal. You aimed well. Karma called on you.”
Marksman in severe shock
THE hunter who shot Mark Sutton was still in hospital with severe shock last night and has yet to be quizzed by cops.
An autopsy revealed a Kalashnikov bullet went through Sutton’s lungs and spine after being fired in a forest from 40m (131ft).
The unnamed gunman, 22, is from Taninges.
A source said: “He’s not some thug. He’s a hardworking guy.”
He was with a group of hunters and faces jail if found guilty of aggravated manslaughter.
Prosecutor Philippe Toccanier said: “There was total visibility. The victim was wearing a coloured T-shirt and his bike and helmet also coloured.”
