The jet's nose cone was struck perilously close to navigation equipment last month.

Despite being zapped with 30million volts, the aircraft landed safely at Schiphol Airport.

But it was grounded for more than a week for urgent repairs and safety checks, according to airport sources.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had flown from London Oxford Airport to a star-studded boat party thrown by Soho house founder Nick House.
